The coaching agreement

These terms apply when you book coaching with Forth Coaching. Before we begin, I will also send you a separate coaching agreement to read and sign. If you have any questions, email viv@forthcoaching.com.

Coaching

Coaching gives you space to explore goals, challenges and decisions. I will work with you to support that process, but you remain responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take. I cannot guarantee a particular personal or business outcome.

Coaching is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, medical treatment, legal advice or financial advice.

Sessions and fees

A standard coaching session lasts 55 minutes and takes place online. I will confirm the price, number of sessions and payment arrangements before you book.

Rearranging a session

If you need to rearrange, please email viv@forthcoaching.com at least 48 hours before your session. We can then arrange another time without charge. Coaching sessions are charged at £100 each. 

If you give less than 48 hours’ notice or do not attend you will still be charged 50% if cancelled within 48 hours and 100% in the event of a no show. I will consider exceptional circumstances fairly.

If I need to cancel a session, you can choose another date or receive a refund for that session if you have already paid.

Ending coaching and refunds

You can decide to stop coaching at any time. You will only be charged for sessions already delivered and any applicable late-cancellation charge.

If you have paid in advance for a block of sessions, I will refund the unused sessions, less those charges. I will explain the calculation and make the refund within 14 days of agreeing the amount due.

Your right to cancel an online or telephone booking

If you book as a consumer online or by phone, you may have a legal right to cancel your coaching purchase within 14 days of entering into the agreement, without giving a reason. To do so, email viv@forthcoaching.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

If you would like coaching to begin within those 14 days, I will ask you separately to confirm that you expressly request this. If you then cancel during the 14-day period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for coaching already provided. If the agreed service has been completed in full during that period, your cancellation right may end where the legal requirements have been met.

These legal rights take priority over the 48-hour appointment policy above.

Privacy

I handle personal information in line with the Forth Coaching privacy notice. The separate coaching agreement explains confidentiality in more detail.

If something goes wrong

I will provide coaching with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights or excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful.

These terms are governed by Scots law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
